"Well, we came back and everything was even better! Got the snow crab clusters this time! Food was phenomenal! We miraculously got a table right away because it was packed on a Saturday night! Our server, who is adorable, was running around the entire time we were there but never lost her smile or friendliness! As it was busy,it took some time for the food to arrive but it was so worth it! We had jalapeno poppers for an appetizer, but the best was the black mussels, steamed little neck clams, and Dungeness crab! Can't wait to come back!"

"I don't know where to start here. We went for a good seafood meal based on the recommendation of a friend. We arrived early since we had been told it gets crowded. We were seated immediately and drinks were brought to our table quickly. The waitperson (Julia?) was very friendly and took our dinner order as soon as we received our drinks. I had ordered a cup of bisque and cold whiting. My wife ordered lobster since it was her birthday and a splurge was in order. We also ordered onion rings. We received our appetizers quickly. The onion rings were overcooked and the bisque was so salty that I found it very difficult to enjoy. Then we waited. And waited. And waited for over a half hour for our main courses. Another patron came to our table and asked how long we had been waiting. When the whiting and lobster arrived, the whiting was, once again over-salted, and the lobster was so overcooked that she couldn't eat it. It's a shame since the lobster looked delicious. She actually sent it back telling our waiter that it was inedible. (I agree and I'm not fussy when it comes to seafood.) To their credit, they offered us some perks due to our displeasure with the meal. At that time a manager? Chef? came to our table and explained that they had an issue with their steamer and we wouldn't be charged for the lobster. I only wish that they had been a little more forthcoming with that information. It's a shame that I have to leave this review and I would like to give them a second chance. (Note to all restaurants: Stop over salting your food. Salt can be added, but not removed. Let your patrons decide how much salt they want in their food.)"

"This place has the best seafood in Southern New Jersey. If you're lucky enough to get Emily as a bartender, she will treat you with quick prompt and friendly service. Everything is made fresh so it takes a little bit but it's well worth it."

"Always a pleasure visiting Cap's, the seafood is above average in freshness and the soups, particularly the Crab bisque, is outstanding."

"Food is always good, but we wish that all the food was brought out together. It's been this way for decades. This most recent visit I was about to cancel the final item because we finished everything else. The waitress said she had held it back because the previous customers at that table wanted things brought out one at a time. We weren't the previous customers and if that was an option it should have been presented to us so that we could make that decision. Update: Our last visit was a little better, but the wait staff could be a little more attentive."
